No experience? No worries. You’ll get full training and support from day one.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a friendly team working with fresh salmon and trout, helping to keep production running smoothly. It’s a physical, hands‑on role in a chilled environment, so you’ll be active throughout your shift.
Your tasks may include:
- Feeding and supporting the production line
- Gutting, washing, and grading fish
- Tagging and boxing products ready for dispatch
- Chill work (icing, lidding, banding, palletising)
- Filleting and other processing duties
What’s in it for you
- £13.60/hour starting rate
- Pay rise to £14.10/hour after 3 months
- Guaranteed 14 hours per week (Monday & Thursday shifts) with potential to work up to 24 hours
- Subsidised transport to site from Inverness, Alness or Invergordon
- 30 days’ annual leave (pro‑rata) once you’ve completed 12 weeks in placement
- Full training provided
- Start on an agency contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role once standards are met - offering stable employment with a trusted employer
